Great tour for those who enjoy hiking
and navigation. In the morning we pick you up at the hotel and take National Road
Nš 3 westwards. We arrive to the National Park, and after we pay the entrance
fee (included), we go to the coastal path. This 4 and a half mile path (7 kilometer)
takes around 3 hours of hiking and is one of the most beautiful hikings in the
Park with lots of vegetation (High Deciduous Beech, Low Deciduous Beech, Evergreen
Beech, Winters bark, Fire bush, etc.).
We then board a Zodiac boat and
head to a beautiful bay called Ensenada. We navigate along the Beagle Channel
to the Redonda Island and have a view of Rocky Cormorants that nest in a rocky
wall of the island. We disembark on the island and have lunch in a refuge, enjoying
one of the best views of this landscape.
After lunch you have some free
time to walk around the island. This island is a natural reserve and it has only
been opened for tourists a couple of years ago. There are two paths to walk, each
takes 20 minutes.
We will then head to Lapataia Bay and along this trip
we will see some of the most beautiful seabirds of the Argentinean South (Albatrosses,
Petrels, Snowy Sheath Bills and maybe also Penguins). We arrive to Lapataia Bay,
the end of the famous Panamerican Road at the Ends of the Earth. Here we will
take our van to go back to Ushuaia
